Product description
ROCKWOOL BeamClad is a non-combustible stone wool insulation slab. The product provides up to 4 hours’ fire resistance to structural steelwork*, assessed at critical temperatures between 350°C and 800°C, including the default temperatures of 550°C (columns) and 620°C (beams).
It has also been tested to provide fire protection to timber floor systems and concrete soffits.
Slabs are sized 2000x1200mm and are available with an optional tissue or aluminium foil facing. BeamClad slabs can be fixed to the steel using stud-welded pins, or adhered using FirePro Glue and noggings. All joints must be treated with FirePro Glue.
